Conference on Life Cycle Assessment with participation of Pforzheim University
In the last few days more than 300 participants from over 20 countries visited the famous international conference "Ecobalance 2012", which takes place every two years in Japan and deals with topics related to the life cycle assessment and material flow management. This time it was also attended by a delegation from the University of Pforzheim, who presented their latest research findings. INEC staff member Bettina Joa has given a lecture on water footprint and presented the results from the BMBF research project. A scientific poster by Clemens Raqué to the project CLICCC also attracted great interest. It deals with the so-called carbon footprint of companies. Prof. Mario Schmidt attended various meetings that dealt with the methodological developments of Material Flow Cost Accounting (MFCA).
