News

For the last “Guest in Classroom” session this semester, we invited Vishal Gajjar, Alumni of the MBA Class of 2011. After his MBA, Vishal worked for Henkel and Accenture, and then joined Lidl as a Consultant. As part of his MBA at Pforzheim University, Vishal studied a semester abroad at partner university <link https: home.byu.edu home external link in new>BYU (Brigham Young University) in Utah, USA.

Our guest introduced himself and shared his valuable experiences with the class. He currently works as a Consultant for <link https: www.lidl.de external link in new>Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG, which is the world’s second biggest discounter group after Aldi. Lidl operates over 10,000 stores in 27 countries and is part of the Schwarz Group with its headquarters in Neckarsulm, Germany.

To all international MBA students, Vishal pointed out how important learning German was. According to his experience, without the knowledge of a country's native language, it was almost impossible to enter its job market. With commitment and hard work, Vishal learned German within a few months.

The current MBA students were able to benefit from Vishal's broad experience, not only in a professional context, but also in terms of his own MBA experience and knowledge application to real life. They took the opportunity to have all their questions answered during the session.

Thank you for coming back to Pforzheim University and sharing your MBA and work experiences!
