As part of the elective "European Financial Markets" by Prof. Dr. Dirk Wentzel, students visited the Frankfurt Stock Exchange  and the Deutsche Bundesbank in Frankfurt.

The first part of the field trip to Frankfurt took place at the <link http: en.boerse-frankfurt.de external-link-new-window external link in new>Frankfurt Stock Exchange, where exchange students and MBA students from Pforzheim University experienced a real trading floor.

Afterwards, the group visited the <link https: www.bundesbank.de navigation de home home_node.html external-link-new-window external link in new>Deutsche Bundesbank. Mr. Jedrzejowski held a lecture on "The role of the Deutsche Bundesbank within the Eurosystem" and the students took the chance for a discussion with him.

Before heading back to Pforzheim, there was some time left for a visit to the Christmas market.
