The MBA program at Pforzheim University was very excited to hold its first MBA Alumni Meeting after the pandemic! Over 80 MBA alumni found their way back to HS Pforzheim and we were happy to welcome them and their family members for a day full of fun, socializing, reconnecting and networking opportunities.
The alumni traveled to Pforzheim from the north, south, east and west of Germany, some even came from Switzerland or the USA to mingle with each other, professors and staff members.
There were Alumni from the Class of 2003 all the way up to the Class of 2022 that have made it through the MBA International Management program here at HS Pforzheim.
The event kicked off with a reception and snacks, drinks and champagne to create a talkative and fun atmosphere. People trickled in and exchanged stories about their time in the program and how much it helped them in their professional careers. While some may not have remembered the exact content to pass a test for the same class today, they definitely remembered the collaborative and engaging exchanges they had with their fellow MBA batchmates. Some MBA students had gone on to found their own companies and many have moved on to high level positions at companies all over Germany, some as directors or VPs at some of the biggest players in Germany.
After the reception, the alumni, the MBA team and the present professors made the beautiful hike through the woods of the Black Forest to the Seehaus Biergarten, just 30 minutes from Hochschule Pforzheim. There, in beautiful summer weather everyone had a great time chatting and connecting with friends and professors while eating German snacks and drinking cold German beer in the shade of the trees by the lake.  
In the evening everyone met again at Lehner’s Wirtshaus, the place where many MBA Stammtisch-gatherings had been held I the past years, for a traditional dinner and good talks between friends and MBA program mates. Many people throughout the day had nice exchanges swapping stories from their shared experiences here in Pforzheim and in the MBA program.  
We are proud of our alumni and the success they have achieved since graduating from our program. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future and continuing to build strong relationships with our alumni.
