Dr. Nicholas Thißen - new professor for the study course resource efficiency management

As of winter semester 2012 Dr. Nicholas Thißen will strengthen the team of professors of the study course resource efficiency management. The mechanical engineer has years of experience at companies such as Kraftanlagen Heidelberg, Ciba Basel,   BASF and Bayer Technology  Services Leverkusen and has dealt worldwide with projects in the fields of energy efficiency, emissions reduction and environmental  technologies. He will assume the new W3-Professorship "Sustainable Process Systems Engineering / Quantitative Methods, and also actively participate in the Institute of Industrial Ecology.
