Consumption of natural resources was a topic at the G7 summit

Resource efficiency was a G7 topic and therefore became more appreciated internationally. At the initiative of the Federal Government the consumption of natural resources was addressed at the summit. The confessions to 'ambitious' measures to improve resource efficiency are indeed very general, but an international follow-up process, a G7 Alliance for resource efficiency, and an enhanced international cooperation were initiated. These include reports of the International Resource Panel of the United Nations(see our contribution on Baden TV) and the OECD, which should be submitted already next year. The theme of our Bachelor program BWL / Resource Efficiency Management thus gains further importance!
