R&D Management Conference in Stuttgart from June 3 to 6

From June 3 to 6 about 200 participants from home and abroad gathered on the R & D Management Conference in Stuttgart to discuss current issues on the management of research and development (R & D) companies. The annual international conference was organized this year by the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO in Stuttgart. Known researchers and practitioners, for example, presented how a strategic technology management can be implemented or how modern innovation processes can be realized within a company. An important issue was moderated by Prof. Mario Schmidt from the Institute of Industrial Ecology at Pforzheim University: Theme of the session: "Sustainability and R & D Management" The question was how sustainability and resource efficiency aspects can be integrated in a management of R & D and what factors need to be considered in the implementation of eco-innovations.
