Our first semester MBA students took time out of their tight schedule to participate in a team building activity held at the Wildpark close to the university. The activities were designed to encourage participants to develop teamwork, foster trust and encourage communication.
After some initial coordination games, the students had to solve their first team task: in the style of a memory game, hidden letter and number cards had to be uncovered in the correct order. The goal was for the students to develop a strategy for solving the task in the right and most efficient way.  
The biggest challenge, however, was to get each an everyone of the students over a wire rope stretched between two trees to the other side, without touching the ground.  Through trial and error, a solution had to be found that could only be achieved through courage, trust and mutual support.
After facing all the challenges and playing all those games of the team building event, it was evident that a spirit of togetherness and cohesion had already existed within the group. The mini event was concluded with a feedback session where each participant was given the opportunity to elaborate on key takeaways.
