Suitable and sustainable: PSD bank with a long term commitment
On Tuesday, Bernhard Slavetinsky, Chairman of the PSD Bank signed the cooperation agreement on an endowed professorship, which the course of resource efficiency management receives in addition to the "normal" by the state-funded professorships. "Our aim is to help shape a sustainable future and to generate, together with the region, long-term values. We are very proud to partner with the prestigious University of Pforzheim and see our commitment as an investment in the most valuable resource at all - the education of young people, "said Bernhard Slavetinsky.
The program "captures the spirit" of the companies and the students - this is how Professor Martin Erhardt, president of the University of Pforzheim, characterized the BA-program. Therefore, the College greatly appreciates the Bank's commitment. By the professorship an even stronger profile formation is possible. The professorship will help to build a bridge to practice in companies and to connect topics such as lean management and resource management with sustainability issues.
In recent months, the Bank has supported the BA-program. Holger Morlock, head of marketing, said that the PSD Bank also supports a series of lectures on resource efficiency, provides scholarships for students and also plans a promotional award.
Among other things, the Chair is also the subject of an article on BadenTV.
