News
Nadine Ebmeyer, Manager at Lighthouse Germany, Centre of Excellence for Data & Analytics at KPMG and an alumna of the MBA program delivered – due to the Covid-19 restrictions – the first online Guest in Classroom session ever for our MBA students. Although it would have been a great experience for the MBA students to interact with Nadine in person, the online session didn’t fall short on the level of engagement and its expected outcomes.
In the 90-minute-long session, Nadine introduced the world of Customer and Sales Analytics - her area of expertise- to the students. The building blocks of KPMG’s data-driven solutions that cover the entire customer journey like Intelligent Pricing, Customer Segmentation, Customer Churn Prediction, Machine-Learning based Forecasting and further Customer Potential & Trend Analytics were demonstrated to the MBA students using interesting data visualization tools of the company.
Nadine is also one of the many students that have ventured into a completely different career after graduating from the MBA thus, being a good role model for the current students aspiring to also take this path. Nadine credits Pforzheim University´s MBA program and the exposure she got as a student that was a great support in the transition from a Manager in the Luxury and Hospitality Industry to a Manager of Data Analytics at KPMG, one of the leading global management consulting firms. Towards the end of the Guest in Classroom session, Nadine had a piece of important advice for the students on developing a personal vision and working hard towards materializing it.
