Am 24.04.2013 stürzte die Textilfabrik Rana Plaza in Bangladesch ein und der Einsturz forderte das Leben von mehr als tausend Menschen. Anlässlich des zehnten Jahrestages erinnert die Fairtrade-Kampagne Change Fashion an das Unglück und macht auf die weiterhin vorherrschenden Missstände in der Textilindustrie aufmerksam.

Die Fairtrade-Town Pforzheim und die Fairtrade-University Pforzheim möchten gemeinsam auf das Thema aufmerksam machen und laden herzlich zum Vortrag „Slow Fashion – der bewusste, nachhaltige und entschleunigte Modekonsum“ von Anika Neugart ein. Anschließend findet ein Kleidertausch statt, den die Studierendeninitiative Remedy e.V. und das Erasmus Student Network ESN organisieren.

On April 24, 2013, the Rana Plaza textile factory in Bangladesh collapsed, killing more than thousand people. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, the Fairtrade campaign Change Fashion reminds the disaster and draws attention to the still prevailing grievances in the textile industry.

The Fairtrade-Town Pforzheim and the Fairtrade-University Pforzheim draw attention to the topic and invite to the lecture “Slow Fashion – the conscious, sustainable and decelerated fashion consumption” by Anika Neugart (in German). Afterwards there will be a clothes swap organized by the student initiative Remedy e.V. and the Erasmus Student Networt ESN.
