News

Two MBA batches visited the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart and met with Dr. Planing at the Daimler headquarters afterwards.

First and third semester MBA students had the chance to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. As the only musem worldwide, it displays the history of the automotive industry, which is over 125 years old,  from day one on. More than 1,500 exhibits can be found on nine different levels with a total area of 16,500 square meters.

After the visit to the museum, the MBA students met with Dr. Patrick Planing, Manager Digital Transformation at Daimler AG in Stuttgart. Dr. Planing is alumnus of the Pforzheim MBA and graduated in 2007. He holds a PhD from Leeds Metropolitan University and regularly teaches "International Business Development Management" in the MBA program at Pforzheim University.

Dr. Planing and his colleague Johannes Deselaers from the Digital Life department at Daimler held an interactive session with the students. The main topic was Daimler's strategy. Different presentations and discussions between all parties made the afternoon a special learning experience.
