Resource Efficiency Management  in Japanese Companies

Prof. Michiyasu Nakajima is teaching at the Faculty of Business and Commerce at Kansai University, Osaka, Japan. He has published a large number of papers and case studies on material flow cost accounting (MFCA) and related topics and is heavily involved in the ISO standardisation of such concepts. In his speech, Prof. Nakajima will highlight Japanese experiences and examples on resource efficiency management, particularly material flow cost accounting. He will present new findings and future possibilities as well as implementation barriers in practice.
