Over the past two weeks, MBA students had the pleasure to take a lecture with Prof. Kevin Johnston from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

At his home university, Prof. Johnston belongs to the <link https: www.commerce.uct.ac.za informationsystems external-link-new-window external link in new>Faculty of Commerce, Department of Information System. Therefore, he regularly teaches “Information Management”, a compulsory course for 1st semester MBA students, at Pforzheim University.

The course aims to provide students with an understanding of the complexities and issues involved in the development and management of information and Information Systems (IS). The course will bring together issues relating to organizations, management and people within an IS context.
