Last Friday and Saturday, the 2021 MBA cohort, started their second elective course for the summer semester. Taught by Mr. Geoffrey Matthews, former Vice President, HR at Nestlé and Founder of Geoffrey Matthews Consulting, the students participated in the lectures via digital video tool. While it would have been lovely to have Mr. Matthews over at our campus, we are glad he, the MBA team and the students have made it work despite these challenging times.
The course places high importance on case studies and class participation. In the opening sessions, students learned about the key aspects of organizational change, theories and psychology of change and lastly, the sponsorship and communication of change. The students often drew parallels to their past work experiences and shared them during discussion sessions, which made the course very lively and made the learnings stick for everyone.
